Consequentialism

An incoherent ethical model; an analogue of Machiavellianism.

A philosophy designed to reframe narcissistic tendencies as sound judgment, which makes the model unethical by design.

Any framework that invites ex ante, ad hoc and post hoc rationalizations will not produce much else.

Freedom and democracy have no place within a consequentialist paradigm.  Keep this in mind the next time you hear someone justifying their immoral conduct.
